Here is how it works in practice.
Real Names Stay Private
When you sign up as a provider, you give a real name for account records and a separate profile name for public display. The real name lives in a private account record that is never shown publicly. The profile name is the only name visitors ever see.
This means your legal name is not searchable on the site, does not appear in URLs, does not appear in metadata, and is not exposed by any public API. The only people who see it are platform administrators handling account-level support.
If you want, you can read more about this on the about us page.
Browsing Is Anonymous
Clients do not need an account to browse. The site does not track individual visitor identities for browsing activity. There are no logged-in browsing histories to leak, no saved-search lists tied to your name, and no account dashboards with your viewing history.
You can view profiles, read articles, and check availability without logging in.
Account Data Is Minimal
The data the site holds about provider accounts is the minimum needed to run the platform:
There is no personal data harvesting beyond what the platform actually uses.
Payments Are Handled by Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are never stored on Rose Companions servers. Refunds, billing disputes, and subscription management are handled through Stripe's infrastructure, which has industry-standard security and compliance.
If you have a billing question, you can manage your subscription from the subscription dashboard.
Email Is for Account Use Only
Your email address is used for account confirmation, billing receipts, and important account notifications. It is not sold, shared with marketers, or used for promotional outreach beyond what you have signed up for.
If you receive an email from the platform, it relates to your account or to the platform itself.
Photo Storage Is Secure
Photos uploaded to the platform are stored in a private storage bucket with restricted access. The public URLs that render images on profiles are generated for serving images to browsers, not for indexing or scraping. Photos can be deleted at any time from your dashboard, and deletion is immediate.
Provider Communication
When clients contact you, they reach you through the contact details you have chosen to display on your profile. The platform does not relay messages or insert itself into your client conversations.
This means your client communication is between you and them. It also means you control what contact methods you accept.

Questions
If you have a specific privacy question, the FAQ covers most of them. For anything else, the support email is the right channel.
Privacy is the foundation of trust on a platform like this. The site is built around that principle, not bolted on after the fact.
